Graphics are great. Developer is actively fixing issues as they are found. I have found it to be pretty stable.
I have to close the app and open again from time to time but not a big deal. Would love to see more map options soon. Loved playing the board version with Italy. Would like to be able to land fighters on friendly carriers. Lots of options to customize if you want to improve speed of play.
The message system in the game is a good compromise that allows Team mates to plan attacks. Love this game. If you enjoy AA board games give this a try. One time fee and no annoying ads or need to make additional purchases. I would be willing to pay for additional maps though… The black map glitch is killing me. I have tried everything to stop the map from going black. Turned off any graphics and map scrolling that use up resources.
My iPad is running the latest iOS. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I have it installed on my iPhone 12 as well but it just crashes on that device. Please fix this. I truly enjoyed playing this when it was a board game, but I almost never finished a game. I was looking forward to the Mobile version because I could actually manage to finish games. This happened after the game selection options and right when I was about to start the first Russian turn. Screen went black, not shut off just black. I can not take a turn while I have a spare moment in my day.
This game is literally unplayable. Game loads, then freezes on black screen. Single player against computer? Only time the game works is in hot seat mode. The issues I described above persist on my iPhone 13 pro.
