I have tried mostly method available online but noting seems to be working for me, So finally I reinstalled the windows and DTS:X started working but after a day same thing started happening again. I have latest Windows 10 Home and Latest Drivers. Rolling back driver doesn’t work too.
I think the recent windows update has caused the issues. I have the same problem hope Microsoft will reply soon as possible or I have to reset the windows. That’s the only solution I have in my mind. I’ve the same issue on an Acer laptop, and it’s extraordinarily irritating.
I’ve scoured the web trying different ‘fixes’ and nothing has stuck so far. You can install DTS:X Ultra component from your manufacturer website and about not being able to download the app, I think you should try to see your Download and Updates tab in your windows Store and there’s an all Owned app option and from there you can install the app.
