Both software worked fine on my Windows 10, and Windows 7, and neither require monthly or yearly use fees. The Power director 16 does everything an amateur videographer would need, and would even be perfect for pros like wedding videographers. You can combine different videos in to the same screen to form a more all encompassing video of the same area.
Like most video editing though, the learning curve is steep and you will need to invest hours or days to fully appreciate all this software has to offer. From taking still photos from video, to simple color editing, this software is great and fairly easy to use. The still photo from video is my favorite though. Now instead of trying ot time my photos just right all I do is take a video, then use this to grab the best pictures from it.
